My Initial Concepts?

My intention was to make my site easier to navigate for others as I did not want to make it too advanced with too much designs on the site. during my planning, I planned out what the main menu, video gallery and image gallery would look like, as for the rest of the page (especially my portfolio), I just made it during while I was creating my site due to many categories that had to be added. here are examples of my concepts below:
